Greenwell(R) Challenges Outcome Of State(KY) Auditor Race

Republican Linda Greenwell filed a written request with the secretary of state's office Friday seeking a recanvassing of election results in the race for state auditor.

Greenwell, who lost to Democrat Crit Luallen, formally requested a "recanvass of all voting machines and absentee ballots of all precincts for the auditors race."

Unofficially, Greenwell lost by more than 15,000 votes. Greenwell finished with 495,231 votes to Luallen's 510,652 votes, according to uncertified vote totals.
