Kennedy aide joins Dean Campaign; Wi Lt. Gov endorses Clark
News from Wisconisin which will have a pivotal primary on Feb. 17--

**Governor Doyle has agreed to host a series of forums around the state featuring the nine Democratic presidential candidates. Doyle and the State Dem party said the "Working For Wisconsin" forums will start 11/17 with an appearance by John Edwards in Milwaukee.

**Doyle has promised to stay neutral, but Lt. Governor Barbara Lawton has signed on as state campaign chairwoman for Gen. Clark.

**Howard Dean has tapped an aide to US Senator Edward Kennedy, to serve s his campaign communications director in Wisconsin. A Milwaukee native, Mike Spahn was EMK's deputy press secretary and also worked on Wisconsin Senator Herb Kohl's re-election run in 2000.
The Dean camp is also opening a second campaign office in the state--in Milwaukee. The campaign also has a office in Madison.

1. Great news!
I'm from La Crosse, hopefully one of the candidates will be in God's Country around the holidays! I'll be back there for a week or so!

2. if I were one of the candidates
that is where I would ask to hold a forum. La Crosse or Eau Claire where the 2004 election will be decided--a true swing area of the state.
