2. Willie's also on the radio for DK in Iowa:
WASHINGTON - Country music singer Willie Nelson (news) is taking his support for Democratic presidential hopeful Dennis Kucinich to the radio waves this week.

"Hey Iowa. This is Willie Nelson," says the singer, as his hit song "On the Road Again" plays in the background.

"I don't usually get too involved in politics, but I'm supporting Congressman Dennis Kucinich for President. I know Dennis and I know he speaks up for heartland Americans who need a stronger voice," Nelson says in the 30- and 60-second spots.

3. whether you support Kucinich or not . . .
you have to admire Willie for donating his time and talents to a cause he believes in . . . he does a lot of that, starting with Farm Aid, and involves a lot of other artists as well . . . Pete Seeger is another one who does more concerts as benefits than he does for himself . . . are there any performers more generous with their time than Willie and Pete? . . . not that I can think of . . .

6. Jewel is doing alot with her time and money.
She actually donates almost half her income to charitable causes.

Bonnie Raitt is another who gives much of herself.
