Gov. Murkowski's tax hikes may help doom daughter in Alaska Senate race

Gov. Frank Murkowski's tax and fee hikes to deal with Alaska's deficit are not going over well among Democrats or Republicans. This will probably push his popularity even lower and hurt the election prospects of his daughter Lisa, who he appointed to his senate seat when he became Governor (a move which has also not gone over well in this state).

This one is looking brigher for Democrats especially with ex-Gov. Tony Knowles running.

This is great. I hope he sinks into his own fat and
wallows.

Lisa is a prime example of white people/rich people/republican
entitlement. She is so dumb, it makes my eyes hurt to watch her
pretend to know what she's doing.

Raising taxes SHOULD NEVER cost you.

I don't get why people support cutting taxes and hurting the govt.

So it's good and bad.IMHO.

Hope we win it but hope the Dem keeps the tax hikes.

Edited to add: You gotta do what you do to get elected though.
