How many Democrats did DUers register this past week?

How many Democrats did DUers register this past week?
Skinner gave me the go-ahead to start a weekly thread asking DUers if and/or how many Democrats they registered during the previous week.

This will give DUers an opportunity to blow their own horns a little AND remind all of us of one of our primary responsibilties as Democrats -- registering voters.

So, DUers, what's the tally for this week?

Me: 0
(I did walk my precinct this week collecting signatures to qualify for the ballot. I handed in the completed papers yesterday.)

1. None.
:( However, my daughter is doing her part by begging her voting aged friends to help get Bush out of office, because apparently I'm driving her crazy with my angry outbursts whenever Bush does something heinous or stupid. Poor kid has had put up with this for 3 years now. Most of her friends are avidly anti-Bush, anyway.

I will pick up some forms from the Elections Office on Monday. Thanks for the reminder.

9. I guess I'm in the lead so far....
I registered four new Maryland democrats at St. Mary's College this week. (well, two were independants who want to vote for Dean in our closed primaries).

Let's keep up the good work!

And don't you love it when they switch parties? I was registering voters the week before Thanksgiving and converted two Republicans over to Democrats. Feels great, doesn't it?

11. I got 2 this week,
And all the local volunteers have started taking voter registration cards with them for petition drives. Hopefully I'll start getting more by doing the same thing.

....but he took lots of forms for his friends. :)

we have a lot of Greens & Indy here in N Az and they are switching Dem for Dennis...have only til the first few days in AZ though- we are early (Feb 3) ...its a "presidential preference"- not general primary- so you have to be registered in the party to vote for that party.....

Hey..maybe this a new slogan??

I'll be a DEM for DENNIS!

14. One from a guy who swore he'd never vote and now he's becoming
a Democrat, all the while saying he hates all politics and both parties. He has also spent countless hours over the past few months educating Republican friends and associates on details they are unaware of on issues.
We are having a party Tuesday to watch the debates...the second one we've sponsored so far. Hopefully we can get even more people to this one then to the last one (had 8 over last time)

15. Here's an idea...
How about we keep a running tally by state. So if the Ohioans are slacking off, we know that you all have to get on the ball and help us win your state. Same for the AZ, NM, and all the battleground state folk. And those of us in states like MD, MA, etc. we'll do the same to keep our states blue.
