Poll question: Favorite Great Lakes Senator
OK, so there are two states (Maryland and Delaware) which aren't necessarily Great Lakes states, but I couldn't fit them anywhere else. My apologies. Here are the states considered for this poll:

New York, Delaware, Maryland, Indiana, Illinois, and Michigan

1. Durbin all the way!
Senator Durbin rocks! He's quite liberal, but always presents himself in an inoffensive average joe kinda way.

4. Carl Levin - a voice of reason
Been standing up for us for years. He's no Harrison Ford, but has done great work on the Senate Armed Services Committee. Like Debbie, too. Lived in Maryland recently for a year; liked Sarbanes, but Barbara was rarely seen or heard. You're right - Maryland and Delaware are definitely not Great Lakes states.

7. You're lucky I saw the other poll that includes Feingold
before seeing this one, because I'd be fuming!!! :) But I'll forgive you.

Now, can you tell me why Wisconsin isn't a Great Lake State? Just wondering what that great big body of water is over to the east... Ooh, and there's that very chilly one to the north... :) brrrrrrr........

10. Dick Durbin
He stands head and shoulders above ALL the others. He is bright, articulate, a true liberal, a brilliant orator and a man of unquestioned personal integrity. Dick Durbin should be the next MAJORITY leader--- Daschle isn't fit to carry his briefcase.

11. Where are Santorum and Specter. PA is adjacent to a great lake.
Not that anyone would like Rick and Arlen.
