Dennis Miller tonight
Tuned in to see how Paul Krugman would handle him. I haven't watched Miller since he went to the dark side, and I was actually shocked at how lame he's become. It seems to me he used to be fairly sharp witted and amusing, but now his humor seems forced and extremely low-brow. With Sharpton, the best he could counter was to "agree to disagree" and with Krugman, all he could do was simultaneously suck up and condescend ("you seem so brilliant, how could I disagree with so much of what you say?") Well, why don't you tell us, Dennis? What's that? You can't? Oh.
Honest to God, I got the feeling the audience was embarrassed for him.

4. If Dennis Miller ever sees personal gain in becoming a liberal
again, he will.

For better or worse.

5. he makes me ill
I used to find him so funny...but what the hell happened to him????

its sick...Ed Begley Jr was on the other day talking about how Kerry's enviornmental policies are excellent--and all he did was sit there with a dumb look on his face...

he sucks now

6. Compare him to Jon Stewart
Jon is at ease, funny and insightful. He comes across as smart and is hysterical at times.

Dennis, on the other hand, is a whore. He is no longer funny and I can't even watch him for two minutes without shouting at the television.

7. I used to love to watch him
Now he is just plain not funny. I spent some time trying to figure out if I just "thought" he was not funny because of his politics, but he is simply not funny any more.

9. Bingo

"you seem so brilliant, how could I disagree with so much of what you say"

This is exactly what he does when he says, "Kerry can pronounce the words, but what he says is more stupid than what Bush says."

Just AD HOC attacks with no factual evidence to support his contention. Gotta had it to Dennis...he's learned the signature play of the Conservative playbook.
