The Daily Show called Novak a douche bag last night

He tore Novak a new one. He shredded Novak's column on the swift vets to shreds paragraph by paragraph. Called him a douche bag of liberty. If you missed it, check out the reruns today.

1. I never get to see the first run show,

I have to wait 'til the next day to catch it, so I just saw the Big Dog last night. Jon tore the Swift Vets a BIG one, with tons of Bill's help!

My husband, the Marine, is furious, 'cause that's the first he's heard of it. He said that no good military man would smear a brother like these guys are doing. He thinks there's money behind it. I'd love to find out for sure, that would snuff the story out once and for all.

Can't wait to see tonight's show! You DU'ers always get me pumped for 'em!

5. Of course there is money-- they have a book coming out

and they didn't write it for free and it isn't being handed out for free.

Actually, my husband thinks it could be darker than that - campaign dollars, perhaps? Not all those guys wrote the book.

I LOVED Stewart taking Novakula to task last night.

Wouldn't it be fun to send Mr. No-facts douche bags, much the same way tea bags were sent to members of Congress a few years ago??

8. Loved it when Stewart hijacked the MSNBC screen crawl

During a sketch with Tom Brokaw at the convention, he hijacked a computer when Brokaw wasn't looking and typed, "Scarborough is a douche ..."

God, if only that had really appeared across the bottom of MSNBC's screen ...
