When will the O'Reilly story hit the "traditional" media outlets?

This was yesterday (Oct. 15). I saw very little today.

The Norville Panel on MSNBC was great -- they'll be on again in the coming couple of weeks. No one was making an attempt of defending O'Reilly. Olbermann's blog on O'Reilly was wonderful -- unfortunately, I missed his show but I believe it was about how O'Reilly has made a career out of fashioning himself as some grand moral pillar and Olbermann compares him to some obscure figure very O'Reilly-like from back in the day.

The bit of news I'm happy to see going around is the fact that O'Reilly has NOT denied any of Mackris' allegations. He has called them "horrible" and repeatedly whined he is part of some "extortion attempt" but has not stated whether the allegations are TRUE or FALSE. Funny, because if O'Reilly were to flat-out deny the allegations and Mackris provides tapes, he will be caught in yet another lie.

Unfortunately, after his Regis/Kelly appearance, it seems O'Reilly will not be speaking about the matter any further at the request of his lawyers. I believe I heard he even canceled an appearance he was scheduled for to promote his Children/Teens book. Someone needs to get him on camera and pose him the question: "Are these allegations TRUE or FALSE? One word answer!"

John Fund was finally deposed yesterday in the matter of Morgan Pillsbury v. John H. Fund.

Ms. Pillsbury had Fund arrested a couple years back for beating her up (see http://www.americanpolitics.com/20020223Fund.html).

Anyone heard any rumblings about the Fund depo? I hope it was taped. It could provide even more eye-opening than the Mackris tapes (I'm sure they must, um, er, exist, if you can take a, um, hint).
