Elmo and Laura Bush
My daughter watches PBS in the moring (Clifford, et al) and I just saw a commercial with Elmo and Laura Bush (with her affected gall-durn drawl) speaking on te benefits of reading.

Poor PBS. I guess they've been under the boot for so long they feel the need to suck up to the enemy (see also the cartoon series based on Willam "Lucky" Bennett's Book Of Virtues).

Maybe Laura could explain the virties of reading to her hubby (at least proofreading his speeches).
