Scarborough Country?

So, handed the remote to my BF last night and when I came back into the room somehow Joe Scarborough's MSNBC show was on my TV.

I think I already know the answer to this one...but what do you think of this guy?

he can be, how should I put this...entertaining. But generally speaking its unintended.

He wears his hatred for non neocons on his sleeve.

Watch when he reads viewer e-mail. He will actually edit liberal messages.

ie. when reading "dear joe I am a life long liberal democrat..."

he will read, "dear joe I am a democrat..."

not too subtle he hates dems.

How many dead interns have been found in Scarborough's office?

Answer: One.

Of course it didn't get mush attention at the time...the "liberal media" was too busy crucifying Condit over an affair with Chandra...

Did you see him last night? I was channel surfing and I watched him for a couple of minutes while he delivered his nightly sermon--this time about the incivility of politics in the US. He blamed liberals, of course, conveniently forgetting that his repuke party has been the party of lies, low blows, HYPOCRISY and criminality for the past few years.

On TV, anyway.

What happened to Lori?

Lori Klausutis, age 28, was found dead behind a desk in the offices of US Representative Joe Scarborough of Florida, a Republican, on July 20, 2001. Death was apparently due to a blow on the head. Claims that a heart condition precipitated an accidental fall are tenuous at best; Lori was a marathon runner, and one would think that a heart condition would already have become apparent. At the time of her death, she was treasurer of her chapter of the Florida Federation of Young Republicans. Readers will note that there is no mention of young Lori's passing, although there is that ever-present link to the Chandra/Gary dungheap that commands the attention of our media.

It is an interesting coincidence that Tim Klausitus, Lori's husband, worked on targeting technology for missiles, in light of the fact that Lori's body was discovered within a week of George W. Bush's much-ballyhooed missile defense test. Another interesting tidbit: Rep. Scarborough sits on both the Military Construction and the Research and Development Subcommittees. Scarborough has resigned and is leaving office in November, giving his family as the reason.

It's incredible that someone with this much criminal controversy swirling around him could be awarded with his own TV show.

Until reading this thread I hadn't heard about the dead intern and all the other "funny business" about Scarborough. I was just an innocent viewer of his show, and had complained to MSNBC that he was too right wing.

He comes across just like all the other right wing radio talk show hosts and picks up on the same rants and mantra that someone gives to rant about. It's almost as if there's some higher power that sets the agenda every day all the right wing wacko's get the radio or TV and say the same thing over and over....

Scarborough belongs on FOX. He doesn't offer "news" - it's just yet another right wing rant show.

Why would any person allow someone come into their home and do that, and still have anything to do with him? The equivalent is your coming back into the room and finding porno on your television. What would your mother say? Does he think Rush is a victim of political correctness, or pursued unfairly by big-government? :scared:
