F*ck you CNN. If I want to watch a Fox wannabe I'd watch Fox
I have been raising hell at the gym every time CNN is "mistakenly" switched to Fox, because I like to listen to CNN when I am huffing and puffing on the treadmill and the elliptical.

But during the past week all you have is Terri Schiavo. First those few seconds of her "demon stating" signs of cognition, without you ever adding that these are involuntary reflexive movement, and that those few seconds were taken from hours of tape.

Now you are keep showing her with the hole in her throat and that's all you are talking about. N. Korea may detonate a nuclear bomb, Bush may choke on a pretzel, California may be visited by a 7.8 size earthquake - noooo. All the Wolf Blitzer news hour earlier today was about the Schiavo case.

So go to hell. If you want to be sensationalist and present faux news, I might as well watch the original one.

All I need to know is whether I should email this to Blitzer or to the News manager - whoever s/he is..

I am pissed...

3. That's part of their new stretegy
Their new head guy was on Charlie Rose last week, and they plan to choose particular stories each day and do "saturation coverage."

The term used by media idiots is "own the story."

That'd be a good thing if they decided to "own" substantial stories that actually have meaning. But it's more likely to be the most sensztionalistic story.

So be prepared for more wall-to-wall of the crime or tragedy of the day.
