Yup, the hacks at Rupert Murdoch's print voice in NYC actually editorialized on this morning's newsstands about the Red Sox winning the pennant (second editorial down)...

The quality just leaps off the page...

Beatles to Reunite (the story that accompanied it began on the front page with the breathless details and jumped to page 14...where the first sentence was "Spokespersons for the four Beatles denied the group had any such plans.")

and of course

Maniac Stalks Olivia Newton-John

My all time favorite went back to St. Patrick's day of 1975 and pre-dated Murdoch. It was a landmark of bad layout:
