Bill Press used my joke!

Bill Press show on 1350 Akron WARF - the ONLY all-left radio station in the NE Ohio region.

I sent him a joke Friday that I wasn't able to get on the air with (the screener didn't get it until I had to explain it).

I know that he used mine, because he had responded to my e-mail saying that he like the joke.

My version:

"Is it true that Bill Frist reviewed the footage of the carnage and the
bodies floating in the water, and not only did he declare that they
weren't dead, but just enjoying a good swim!"

The on-air version (today, 9/14/2005):

"The death toll is not as bad as originally thought. Bill Frist has viewed the bodies and has decided that many of them are not dead."

is right on...besides the attack on the video doc! Sorry to chuckle but I had to. I like dark humor.
