C-SPAN 9 PM ET House debating Iraq Emergency Supplemental

Turn it on!!!!

They have been close to boiling over all day. Already, there has been a repug revolt against the Interior Department spending bill because of offensive provisions re: the Indian trust fund situation.

They are bringing this up under a "martial law rule" which forces them to consider it without the requisite one day layover so people can read it.

There are likely to be fireworks in the House tonight. Tune in!

2. repugs playing their usual game

because no one is willing to defend their own rule, the repugs keep "reserving our time" rather than debating the Dems on the rule. They won't even stand up in the House and argue for their actions.

Brad Sherman (D-CA) just said he thought no-bid contracts were still in the bill.
