Latest Anshell Media Info

AnShell Media, which has raised $25 million to create a full slate of left-leaning talk radio shows, débuts in January. CEO Jon Sinton plans to launch in at least three major markets, distributing programs hosted by the likes of Al Franken to affiliates for free. AnShell will split the commercial minutes that air per hour with the affiliates.

1. line-up
i guess we're maybe looking at a daytime line-up of Franken, Werbe, and Malloy? sounds entertaining, but i'll stick with thom hartmann.

2. I like Hartman a lot too
He has a personality that would be very appealing to folks in middle america in my opinion. He's able to get across a progressive point of view in a strong way that doesn't come off as combative or shrill or over the top. He has a very commen-sense style. The only person I've heard real talk of as an anshell host though is Franken. Personally, I love Al Franken, I think he's hilarious. I like Randi Rhodes and Guy James too.

on this board have mentioned Werbe and Malloy are definitely on-board - take that FWIW.
