I'm Sick of Bad Reporting:
Edited on Sat Nov-15-03 11:03 PM by mdguss
I sent this to CNN:

I'm tired of your network's Republican bias. Tonight, a Democrat won a Governor's election. Your anchor remarked, "A rare gain for Democrats this political season." It wasn't a rare gain.

Your network has failed to report on the Democratic Party winning state and local elections across the country. Democrats won back control of the New Jersey Senate. A Democrat ousted an incumbent Republican in the election for Allegheny County Executive in Pennsylvania (maybe that's not interesting to a journalist, but it is the third most powerful office in the state of Pennsylvania), Democrats in Virginia gained seats in the Virginia House of Delegates for the first time in 30 years.

So why not report the whole story. The fact is that the Democratic Party did much better than expected in local elections. How about, another gain for the Democratic Party instead of a rare gain for the Democratic Party

5. I would call it....
bias reporting and not so much bad reporting. The TV media is owned by bif corporations that are in bed with Bush and his thugs. They are not going to be objective. If they were we could very well be in the middle of impeachment of Bush for so many things I lost count!
