I've been getting a lot of crap from some DU members that think I'm spamming just becasue I WAS using "ChuckToddFacts.com" as my subject for all of my posts. I'VE STOPPED DOING THAT (I didn't know it was that big of a deal) so hopefully that will calm down.

I also think some are pissed at the signature graphic too. That's perfectly legal and allowed by the DU admins, so I'm not sure how people can complain (but they do).

Off topic, but wasn't the DNC bylaws committee meeting interesting?

And some DUers have been around a long time, and are used to doing things certain ways. It takes a while for any newcomer to get accustomed to the "culture," but, I think, it's worth it. Not only is there a lot of wisdom, cleverness and humor here, there's a wealth of information.

Personally, however, I've stayed almost completely out of the forum "General Discussion: Primaries" -- and I'm not alone. I don't like battling fellow Dems, but, for those who do, that's the place for it!

That meeting was pretty crazy, but it had to happen. I posted some interesting press reaction over in the Politics/Campaigns forum. There's not much "traffic" there, but it's not as much a battleground as GDP.

And, belatedly -- welcome to DU!

I will try to figure out the rules and adhere to them. I feel like a freshman on his first day of school. No one likes to get kicked around by the seniors. :)

Seems like they are Chuck Norris lines with the name modified.

How is this different from Chuck Norris stuff except for a name change?

To be honest, I posted this item pretty much for fans of Chuck Todd because I heard it mentioned on MSNBC. While I think Todd is great at what he does, I wouldn't myself spend a lot of time at his fan site.

I hope some DUers who have spent some time at the site will post and shed more light on this subject than I can. Sorry I can't be of more help, uppityperson.

Some are modified Chuck Norris facts, but many are original and really apply only to our hero Chuck Todd.

Examples:

• Chuck Todd understands that there is a difference between "half" and "50 percent".


• When John King grows up, he wants to be just like Chuck Todd.


• Chuck Todd knows what the definition of "is" is.


• Chuck Todd played Hardball once but broke the bat.

These wouldn't make much sense as Chuck Norris. Conversely, the following wouldn't make a lot of sense as Chuck Todd either:

• When Chuck Norris talks, everybody listens. And dies.


• Chuck Norris has never been in a fight, ever. Do you call one roundhouse kick to the face a fight?

Chuck Todd is the political director for NBC and MSNBC. He is their "numbers man" and the one they always go to to explain things to us mere mortals. He has gotten a bit of a cult following and there are some Chuck Todd fan sites starting to pop up.
