Press split over US support for Georgia
Source: BBC

The US warning that Russia risks international isolation over the conflict in Georgia draws a mixed response from press on either side of the conflict.

Some Russian commentators say Moscow has nothing to fear from the threat of economic sanctions and has the support of certain EU member states.


In Georgia, however, one writer says US support will lead to Russia's isolation by the West but another takes Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili to task for what it sees as errors of judgment on his part.

1. Here's a thought: why doesn't the press report the news...
... instead of offering their opinion on what's happening. Let's just call them the punditry, instead of the free press.

3. Gates on CSPAN now..... Says he will "Punish" Russia..
Spinning the story so hard his eyeballs look like a slot machine about to hit the jackpot.
NO one is buying it. Our "Press" are liars and whores.. can't think of any other adjectives that fit.
