An observation I had while listening to the "leftish" part of RW station WTAM this morning ...

Discussion was on the use of the word "Retard" (or over-reliance on it) in the movie "Tropic Thunder" ...

A lot of people were going on about the "overreaction" of people on the use of the word "retard". A lot of "Hey, it's a movie, it's about the 'retarding down' to get an award!" yadda yadda yadda ...

A thought occurred to me ... many of these people who are so freaking disgusted with the "political correctness" are most likely the very same people who were frothing at the mouth and hemorrhaging all over themselves because John Kerry didn't pull off his joke in the same measured, rehearsed, and perfect way that Larry the Cable Guy (a professional joke teller) does ...
