An interesting programming note for WTAM-1100 Bob Franz (sp) - the "bailout"
So I heard this morning that the 9am-Noon guy on WTAM-1100 Cleveland guy was going to have two views on the bailout.

Republican Steve LaTourette, who voted against it, and Democrat Tim Ryan, who voted for it.

I noted the framing of this ... the Dem was for it, the Repuke was against it. Normal Clear Channel (and thereby Faux) "fair and balanced" programming.

I thought ... why this pairing? Why not the following pairing?

Republican Ralph Regula, who is retiring after this year, who voted FOR the bailout, and ...

Democrat Dennis Kucinich, who runs in a heavily Dem district, who voted AGAISNT the bailout?

Or, even better ... why didn't the host offer this "debate":

Steve LaTourette (against) vs Ralph Regula (for)?

That would have given an interesting perspective ... and maybe a more honest one ...

Can't blame it on geography for not wanting to interview Regula ... Ryan and LaTourette are somewhat fringe districts of Cleveland, and Kucinich is almost the face of Cleveland when it comes to "liberal" issues in Congress ...
