Maddow, Olbermann, etc...
---

Perhaps they need to back off of the impotent Repug party and start focusing on the Obama administration? You know...the ones in power.
Perhaps they can ask why he thinks it's so funny to lock people up for marijuana possession and why he thinks a single-payer health insurance system is too costly compared with private premiums?

The endless diatribe, especially from Keith, towards the likes of Bill O'Reilly is boring as hell to say the least.
We get it already.

When will our press push the important issues instead of the political gamesmanship they spew?

1. Never think
that the GOPigs are impotent. That's a big mistake, and one that could be terribly costly.

If you don't like KO and/or Rachel, don't watch them.

I think they're terrific, and I applaud the stuff they cover and how they cover it.

Next week, TDS and Colbert return from holiday, so that might be good for you to watch.

3. That's kind of a broad brush you paint with
First of all, Olbermann generally devotes maybe a minute of his show to anything Oreilly says. This week has been different because of Oreilly's latest little stalker episode.

The rest of the show is supportive of Obama and the Democratic party in general, but more in the vein of trashing the stupid things republiconx do. And if he kicks them when they're down so what? Maybe it'll make it harder for them to get up again.

Maddow's show IMO is probably the most even handed news program you can find anywhere. I've heard her question the motives, policies and proposals of Democrats.

I think these shows do just fine.

But maybe I'm wrong. They are also the only shows I watch.

4. I wrote this out of frustration I admit
---

With yesterday's "giggling" about marijuana/hemp law reform and his lack of even entertaining the idea of single-payer insurance...well...I am pissed.

5. Unfortunately, We are still in the Bush Era
Obama was robbed of his chance to take helm of America with the strength and command he should have had because of the criminal and deplorable and often asinine policies of the Bush clown. Bush left us in such a terrible state of affairs that, in realtor's terms, we have to strip this fix-er-upper country down to the basics and rebuild. Apart from our allies and the rest of the world no longer trusting us, our own citizens don't have trust (torture and illegal wire-tapping anyone?)

It has been a long and appalling 8 years of constant decline, and Olberman's tongue-lashings are undoubtedly designed to keep us from sliding down the Repugnant Party path once again.

The fact that the GOP has been able to separate itself from the economic mess we are in is astounding and shows what short memories people have.

But then, some people believe Bush "kept us safe" from terrorists (warnings of 911 ignored, anybody? Rumsfeld blundering. Thousands of our American military killed, anyone?)

The Obama era cannot emerge until the country is at least saved from going under--George W. Bush created this necessity though his menacing and clowning and total fiscal blundering.

I don't watch Tokyo Rose's Fox News Channel at all--it is verboten in my house. So I only learn of the traitorous and vile antics through Olberman. Bill O'Reilly? A silly, erratic Benedict Arnold.
