Do You Change Channels When the RW Liars Start Their Usual Crap?
I know that it's desirable to listen to these people from a "know thy enemy" perspective, but I find that more often than not, I'm switching channels as soon as the lies start flowing. I mean, really, I've heard them all so many times, and there's almost zero chance that the media-whore-in-charge will debunk the lie, let alone challenge them to prove it.

It happened yesterday when Carville/Matlin were on MTP. I'd listen to Jimmy, but as soon as his worse half got going, I changed channels (right about at the point where she spouted the "Democrats blame bush but offer no alternative" BS. Apparently she hasn't bothered listening to any stump speeches, watched any debates or read any position papers).

Does anyone else fall into this trap?

1. Yes, I do....the liars make me physically ill...the damage being done to
our nation as a result of a stolen election, a lying chickenhawk chickenshit puppet pResident, and a bunch of neocons pulling a major con job on the American people, compounded by a bunch of right-wing- controlled media asslickers...
Shameless, all of 'em....
I know I should watch just to know what the bastards are up to, but it's so nauseating to listen to the propaganda and the bullshit and the incessant right-wing spin, I just can't do it most of the time...I really get anxious, and I can feel my heart pounding and my blood damn near boils...

4. I turned off 60 minutes last night...
when they started to run the story about Bush being "lied to" about WMD by Chalabi. I swear I'm so sick of the media bending over backward to give Smirk & Company a pass I can't take it anymore.

6. I can't watch them
I can't even stand to look at pictures of Whistle Ass. I had to warn my neighbors that if they heard me screaming obscenities, I was yelling at the TV, not the dh. Finally, I quit watching. The dh hits the mute button on the remote when one of them comes on.

I don't think we need to hear their arguments. They're always the same.

I am thinking of using WA's pictures as poop paper for my snakes. Although scaring the poop out of them that way seems unfair.

8. I make a game of it
I try to predict how long it will be before they start with their spin points i.e. Flip-flop, jobs lagging indicator, no ideas of their own, etc. etc. It actually can be quite funny - I obviously need to get a life!

10. I can't help myself sometimes
I know I shouldn't do it, I'll only be upset later, but just can't stop myself. Afterwards, I'll go online, check out DU or another place where I can see not everyone is blind and I feel a little better.
