The media spin about Spain is making me sick
Edited on Mon Mar-15-04 03:29 PM by Homer12
1) A group that has ties with Al-Quadia that bombed Spain becuase they wanted to punish Spain for going along with Bush and his NEo-Con War-whores, does not in-itself "prove" that Iraq and Al-Quiada had any links what so ever.

All it proves is the Al-Quaida type group used Iraq as a "justification" for bombing Madrid.

2) Most of the Spanish people were against the Iraq War in the First place; The Spanish Conservative Government went along with GW and his Neo-can war-whore machine. This angered the people in spain(and it was projected the conservative government would lose big anyway before the bombing), and they voted the conservatives out. Does this prove that terrorsim works, all it proves is that the bombings enraged the population more against the conservaties and voted them out of power.

3) So Spain is weak on terrorism, becuase they voted the conservative government out (hence Iraq is part of the war on terrorism).
Since Spain is part of Europe hence all of europe is now weak on terrorism, beucasuse if you vote conservative governments that approved of the Iraq war after a terrorist bombing out or didn't approve of it in the first place, you must be weak (i.e. weakness is now defined by the willingness to go along with BUSH and his war.) Horrible toilet level logic.

The right-wing media whore spin makes me sick, have these people ever heard of logical progression or logical thought or even use their critical thinking skills.

Any lurking Freepers and Bush supporting GOP whores better take note of this thread, your arguments are weak becuase you logic is flawed and you are letting your blood-thirsty hatefull ideology get in the way of "reality".

1. Disgusting isn't it?

I've been just watching in awe at the whoredom by CNN. It's like I'm living in a an alternate universe where the truth is reviled.

The whores refuse to mention that the Spanish public opposed the war. They just will not report that fact.

They are all uniformly spinning like they were handed a script. It's insane.

BUSH HIMSELF said that Iraq has no connection to Al Queada! Did they not get the memo?

2. re point 2
I've always thought one of the AQ's goals, part of their long term plan, was to get more conservative/rightwing governments into power -- so although the horrible bombing may have had some influence on the elections, it was the opposite effect that what AQ wanted.

Unfortunately all we get in the corporate media is the rightwing view of all this, which is in my opinion attempting to exploit the attack in Spain, to annex it and make it serve rightwing propaganda. Which is their typical ploy.

3. The...
socialist party that won yesterday has been saying all along that if they win the election they will pull there troops out of Iraq. They have been saying a long time before the terrorist attacks against their country. Also, al Qaeda hates any friend of the United States. Therefore they attacked Spain. Any objective analysis will tell you that al Qaeda was not attacking Spain because they had troops in Iraq....al Qaeda hates Iraq and Saddam. If Spain supported the US in attacking your local McDonalds then that would piss off al Qaeda....I am not sure if the media whores are stupid or just looking for anything to help Bush......

4. Chris Matthews
was off his rocker tonight on this subject. Democracy is another victim of the terrorist attack in Spain, blah, blah, blah. How is it that they could be so far off on this whole thing? If this is how CNN & MSNBC are spinning it, I can only imagine what must be going on over at Faux!
