Is Cokie Roberts turning in her aqua eye shadow and fishnet stockings?
This morning on NPR she actually reported on GOP attempts to "change the <election> rules" by holding recall elections, redistricting, and appointing the president!

Note: the thread title refers to her status as a "media whore"

1. No mention of *'s unwavering popularity?
Maybe she is acsending from tartdom. But I doubt it.

I'm currently reading Altermans's "What Liberal Media" and her partisan naysaying in the election 2000 fiasco means she has a lot to atone for.

Couldn't ANYBODY do her bit on NPR?

"Polls seem to show...."

"Democrats flustered and impotent..."

"Administration confident..."

What a maroon.

2. You see, that's the thing about whores
No principles, it's a matter of which way the wind is blowing.

3. I sent Mourning Edition a scathing email and Cokie has toned it down since
I sent a scathing email to ME and my two local NPR stations a month ago after listening to Roberts and have not heard a whorish report from her in the five Mondays since then. I complained that her report sounded like it was written by the White House and that it was factually incorrect on the issue she discussed.

I wonder if my feedback had any effect. All I got back from ME was a canned form letter response that was automatically generated. I can only hope.

We shall overcome.

5. Schwarzenegger voted FOR the anti-Mexican, anti-immigrant PROP 187
That according to Cokie herself. That should be the kiss of death to Arnold, just like it killed the gop in California.

Ironic is that Arnold is an immigrant himself, from Austria.
