Google Bombs

We should coordinate some good google bombs, and use our sigs to help propagate them...

Lets see, what would some good ones be:

We should move the BBC article (http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/3298443.stm) further up for "miserable failure" Michael Moore, Hillary and Jimmy Carter are still all on top of it. It would also be good to get this article higher for "google bomb"

The CounterBias article (http://www.counterbias.com/news004.html) on "Brit Hume" is almost to the top.

Rush Limbuaghs website (http://www.rushlimbaugh.com/) should come up first for "oxycontin"

The O'Reilly Factor Site (http://www.foxnews.com/oreilly/) should come up first for "lying liar" and "lying liars"

The Santorum Website (http://www.spreadingsantorum.com/) is still not quite at the top for "rick santorum" or "senator santorum"

How about gettin the alfrankenweb site (http://www.alfrankenweb.com/) to the top for "fair and balanced"

The FAIR report on people who watch FOX vs NPR and their level of misinformation about the war (http://www.fair.org/extra/0305/warstudy.html) would be perfect for "fox news"

The Iraq Body Count (http://www.iraqbodycount.net/) would be ideal for "iraq war" and "dead iraqis"

The photo/video of Saddam and Rumsfeld (http://www.gwu.edu/~nsarchiv/NSAEBB/NSAEBB82/) should come up for "donald rumsfeld"




For those of you who don't know how to google bomb, what you do is to get as many text links as possible which point to a site of your choosing. The text links should be the same text as you want the bomb to come up for on google. The DU boards do get crawled by Google, so when you put it in your sig, every time you post, it should count as a link.

Feel free to add more ideas, and lets get bombing!

which has been selectively Google-bombed while our attention was elsewhere.
Used to be that when one searched for that phrase, one went to websites which discussed Project Coast and the systematic extermination of black people.
Now, typing in "ethnic bomb" gives the impression that North Korea is trying to get rid of Caucasians.

My, how things have changed.

Perhaps we should now invade North Korea,
since the war in Iraq is going so well and
they have weapons of mass destruction
and... and... and... AN ETHNIC BOMB!!!!!

Type in "great president" in google if you haven't tried it already. I don't think the biography of bush should be the top result. THIS NEEDS CHANGED!

Should we do a poll for who the best democratic president was, and bomb him?

Clinton or maybe a predictive Kerry? Could go back to Carter who is also a favorite person to blame for those wanting to portray ronnie as a hero. Eh, I'd vote for Clinton. Wish I could vote for him this November.

For double irony, we should get the Purdue Oxycontin page (http://www.pharma.com/PI/Prescription/Oxycontin.pdf) to come up when the search is "rush limbaugh"

This time it's santorums website (http://santorum.senate.gov/index2.html), and the search words are "man on dog" This one is a number two, just a few more should do it!

The winner is FDR.

So, his whitehouse bio (http://www.whitehouse.gov/history/presidents/fr32.html) should be linked using the words "great president"
