Tim Walker Allen rejoins Randi Rhodes at Air America

Seriously excellent news here, folks!

I just got an email from Tim Walker Allen, Randi's kick-ass producer from West Palm, and he has been hired by Air America and has joined Randi in NYC!

I think Tim was a big part of Randi's chemistry, and her show will only get better from here on out!

Sadly, transmitter wattage is a license issue, and rarely are stations given permission to increase their signals.

4. HOWEVER...

There are things you can do to make your AM receiver work better.

Check out the twin coil antenna sold by http://www.ccrane.com/

I've seen it work.

I'm out in Elgin, BTW, which is pretty distant for the AA station in our area. I use a Radio Shack DX-390, which is made by Sangean, and other than rotating the receiver I don't need to do anything special. My cheap radio alarm clock (an ancient Zenith) does not work well with AA at all.
