AP propaganda writer ANNE GEARAN equates "liberal" and "activist" judges
Look at this quote:

Scalia himself is one of the judges most frequently hailed by conservatives who claim the court system is top-heavy with liberal or "activist" judges.

http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=519&ncid=519&e=10&u=/ap/20040429/ap_on_re_us/scalia_judges_2

She tries to help spread the right wing talking point that only liberal judges can be activist, when the truth is the opposite - many, if not most, "activist" decisions from the right, including Bush vs. Gore.

She inserts the above talking point into the article for no apparent reason and without one balancing it with any quote or position from the left or even a mention of Scalia's conflict of interest and ethics problems.

This line is also propaganda:

Scalia, one of the Supreme Court's most reliable conservatives...

"Reliable"? Scalia is the most partisan right wing justice on the court, and in an article about partisanship she calls him "reliable"?

This writer should be ashamed of her right wing propaganda work.

Does anyone have background or biographical information on her?
