Former Condi/Babs Bush aide and NSC Director to be NBC head.
It starts May 1st, according to this article.
BUSINESS/FINANCIAL DESK | April 2, 2004, Friday

Former White House Aide to Take Post at NBC

(NYT) 233 words
Late Edition - Final , Section C , Page 10 , Column 1
ABSTRACT - Anna Perez, who recently directed communications at National Security Council, will become chief communications executive for NBC; Perez will start at NBC on May 1 (S)

(They changed the wording since I last read it.)
Here is a little snip from the original:
"She left the White House in December, where her titles included counselor for communications to President's Bush's national security adviser, Condoleezza Rice. Ms. Perez also worked in the White House for the first President Bush, as Barbara Bush's press secretary.

Way to go in being non-partisan, huh?

A little reference at Buzzflash, and there you go. That is all. I did a search, but the only other site mention it requires a subscription.

AND the last paragraph from the NYT article, the icing on the cake:
SNIP..."I love the television business," Ms. Perez said. "I have no expertise in it so I will have a bit of learning curve. But I can't remember the last time I didn't have a learning curve when I took a new job."

Curious to see how programming changes at NBC after tomorrow.

1. No wonder Tom decided to retire when he did!
Christ Almighty!

Why doesn't any firm, from some industry just , out of the blue, decide I'd be right for the job, even though I'm just as green as Ms. Perez.

Glad my 401k port-fo doesn't inlcude GE.
