Privatizing black helicopters

Today’s lecture is about the difference of left wing conspiracy theories oppose to right wing conspiracy theories. Right off the bat, right wing conspiracies are more acceptable to society than left wing ones. Why? Because you are laying blame of political evil to enemies of the state, outside sources if you will. Leftists give blame to the state. A right wing view of the terrorist attack on September 11th would claim that former Soviet KGB agents conspired with Arab terrorists to blow up the twin towers in New York. A left wing theory would be that rouge members of the CIA and a few Israeli agents blew up the towers that was orchestrated by Neo-Cons, oil companies, the Saudi Royal family and The Bush crime family. Who is closer to the truth? Then there are those who are skeptics who do not believe in any conspiracy. They deny there is global warming but believe in the terrorist threat on the USA. What are the bases of their conclusions? Is it based on a philosophical premises or intuitive feelings? Most of these skeptics believed that Jesus walked on water but reject the possibility that 9-11 was a controlled demolition. That is what is problematic with absolutism, some Americans believe that their government is absolutely good and it is not capable of doing evil. Is it possible that some bad cookies can be part of the government and do evil? Well? Is it? This romantic & idealistic notion that the USA is absolutely a force of good is sweet but naively false.
By the end of the 1940’s after the temporary defeat of Fascism, the USA was the almighty superpower. The only obstacle was the International Communist movement. After all, Communism was bad for business. However, nobody was really standing up for poor folks .The commies were the only ones doing it. So the demonizing of Communism began. It wasn’t too hard to do. Russia and China were Communist heretics and they were actually left wing totalitarian states. Anti-Authoritarian leftist were either deported or murdered. In the U.S, then the McCarthy era began. Anybody who disagreed with the U.S government was labeled a Commie or a Pinko. People were branded with the red scarlet letter and were blacklisted. Most of the blacklisted victims became homeless or committed suicide. Why? Because they dared to question their government, and that was treasonous.
In 1959, a group calling itself the John Birch Society came into existence. They wrote books and pamphlets about the global Communist conspiracy. As the years wore on the conspiracy got more intricate and the plot thicken. Suddenly, it wasn’t just a red conspiracy, but a 700-year-old conspiracy started by this mysterious group called the Illuminati. In the 1960’s, the John Birch Society attacked the United Nations and called them a den of Communists. Thus the right wing nuts were born. Some there rhetoric has been encrusted in Conservative propaganda by evolutionary osmosis. Listening to right wing media, you can hear the John Birch Society influence.
Flash forward to the 1990’s. The 90’s were the height of right wing radio. The Clinton presidency drove the right wing conspiracy nuts out of the woodwork. It was like being in an alternate universe. They accuse Clinton of the dastardliest acts to the most evil misdeeds. To, sum it up, Clinton was a puppet of the International Communist movement. He with the U.N was going to invade the U.S with black helicopters and blue helmet troops. Red Chinese troops were amassed on the Mexican border ready to invade.
Alas, it never happened. These nuts were just written off as Clinton haters.
Henceforward: The Bush era. Left wing conspiracy theorists are just dismissed as Bush haters. However, it’s more than hatred of a Republican president. It based on facts of a cabal who wants world supremacy. Where right wing conspiracy is based on this unbelievable scenario that rich Jews control the worlds economy and Islamo-Fascist and Communists do their bidding. The Left knows the wealthiest people are NOT Jewish but in fact are White Anglo-Saxon-Protestant males. Second would be Catholic, Arab, Japanese and now Chinese. Jews are 15th place in the world of wealth. It is mostly in Hollywood which is Jewish owned! Whoopee!!!!!
You cannot deny the USA is a superpower. A global market is a code word for world dominance. All you got to do is follow the money. Who gets it and who it benefits from it. We still have a residue of McCarthyism in Republican propaganda. Criticize the rich and you are a socialist who wants a Welfare State. No such thing as a Welfare State. There is a General Welfare State as described in the U.S Constitution and Bill of Rights. Helping a fellow American is a Patriotic act. Letting the rich not pay higher taxes during wartime is not really that patriotic.
To sum, it up, right wing conspiracy theories is based on hatred and fear. Left wing conspiracy theories is based on hard old facts!
