Huckabee Criticizes Romney Over Hunting Claim

WASHINGTON - One of his rivals for the Republican presidential nomination says Mitt Romney shouldn't have claimed he was a life-long hunter.

Romney made that claim even though he never took out a hunting license. His campaign later said he'd been hunting just twice, including once as a teen-ager. Romney then said his staff was wrong, and that he had hunted rabbits and other small animals for many years -- an activity that doesn't require a license.

Still, campaign rival Mike Huckabee says it was a "major mistake" for Romney to make the claim. He says, "It would be like me saying I've been a lifelong golfer because I played putt-putt when I was 9 years old and I rode in a golf cart a couple of times." ~snip~

What's really funny is how the knuckledraggers are actually concerned with how many animals their candidate has killed.
