I support banning smoking in all public places, especially outside!! This is one area I am Pro-gubmint, as long as it's there it might as well keep me from getting that stink on me. In Theory I agree but what bar for example (I'd never go to one but would like the option) would ban smoking? None, they wouldn't want to lose the drunken nic addicts. Do you old timers remember when you could smoke in the damn grocery store and movie theater? The whole world must have stank! What are police officers? Well here in Chi-Town they are armed busybodies empowered by a corrupt local authority I don't support to get up in your face for no reason and arrest your uncle for being there while they arrest your father on the word a whoring welfare queen who doesn't like paying rent or for running afoul a sadistic power-mad bouncer in a strip club or for carrying a duffel bag in public. Poor uncle. Sure they're needed to handle actual crime but they need to be reigned in and need to speak reverently to the people that pay their salaries.
