I am embarrassed that I actually know this person!!!

This was e-mailed to me last night in conjunction with a standard RW rant about a new Muslim postage stamp. She is a grocery clerk I met several years ago while working on a union issue and I don’t remember religion ever being mentioned.

“A women from Jorden came through my line. I asked her if she went to the wailing wall to pray. She was very close to Israel. She said no. Angerly she said THAT'S FOR THE JEWS! I said its for Jews and Christians! I said What nationality are you Muslin? She said yes. I said do you pray to Allah? She said yes. I said we don't pray to Allah we pray to God! She said "Theres only one GOD"! I said there is only one GOD and it is not Allah!
This is too close to home...when they will kill there own children.....because the children want to be christian!!!

I will be surprised if she still has a job! There are very few Muslims in our community and those that are here are usually affiliated with the local hospital as specialists.

last time I checked, it was spelled Jordan, as in RIVER JORDAN, something a self-righteous bible-thumping Christian ought to know.

oh, and she spelled angrily wrong. geez, reading that crap gave me a headache.

I would have sent the whole thing back to her with the mistakes corrected and said something along the lines of "since you can't even spell correctly, it is very hard for me to take you seriously--and that isn't even counting the utter stupidity of your rant."

I want to say something about how annoyed that makes me but words can't properly describe it.
