Shrub on CNN making me ill....
"Successful societies allow freedom of religion..."
"Successful societies provide for health care for all..."
and on and on...
Guess we are not so successful, eh???

He is talking about all the things he thinks the Middle Eastern nations should do to build democracy...gee, I wish he would apply those principles to THIS country...

What rank hypocrisy...I am about to hurl...:puke:

1. No kidding.
Whatever he said about liberty or freedom's being "heaven's plan" for humanity was revealing.

And China? One conquest at a time, please.

2. Watching a recast of Dean from Wednesday.

Quite the difference in oratory between the two.

3. Freedom of his religion
If a group of Muslims got together they would be terrorists, arrested and not allowed access to an attorney.

Provide healthcare to all who can afford it

He has destroyed our democracy so I don't think he is in a position to be building others.

7. Harry Truman is the man
So did Harry Truman. This is a man the Democratic Party should be emulating. A strong sense of social issues and the belief in a strong national defense. He presided over the presidency during two wars, provided the leadership to rebuild Europe after WWII and stood at the forefront on facing down the threat of Korean, China and the Soviet Union over running what is now South Korea.

This was one tough SoB and if the Democrats want to take control of the White House, Senate and Congress, they need more people like Truman.

MLK was a great man. He would have made a great Secretary of State.
