Zogby: Bush Approval Bounce? (NewsMax)

President Bush, his job approval rating beleaguered by poor marks in the wake of Hurricane Katrina, rebounded from historic lows this summer to 45% in Zogby International's latest poll. The president's job approval numbers bumped back up into the range where they have hovered for most of his second term. <snip>

Of course, we're only nine months into his second term, and less than a year past the time Rs were crowing about W's "political capital" from an alleged "landslide," so it's hard to imagine how he could have lost majority support, unless he never had it to begin with ...

4. I'd like to see what the questions were in this poll and the

number of people in the survey. Zogby isn't usually vary far out of line with their numbers, and I can't recall anything that has happened that might have increased Shrub's numbers.

Something doesn't make sense here.

Alleged bounce is 2%
Margin of error is +- 3.2%

Here's the Zogby link foranyone who wants to skip NewsMax:

The same poll shows a Drop in approval on every major issue except Iraq, and there was only a 2% bump there.

Also notice that the negative ratings are getting very "Bottom" heavy - that is the biggest chunk rate him not just negative, but "Poor" rather than fair. The smallest group is the "Excellent" group. People are not only unhappy, they are VERY unhappy.
