The idea that 'Social Security funds are nothing but worthless iou's' is a meme designed to allow the government to not pay back the money it owes to us, the people who paid into Social Security. It's a scam, nothing more or less, to rob us.

6. Hubby joins you in the sentiment
He was a WorldCom computer tech...after the layoffs, he never has been able to find a job...and moving to Bangalore, India was not an option.
