Another blinding flash of the obvious from the media.Gerald Celente wrote Trends 2000 and he recently said in his shrill manner that health care is the new manufacturing economy.Demand outstrips supply so the system is like the skit where Lucy puts cherries on cakes moving down the belt as it increases in speed.

This is a jobs bubble which will grow and get more expensive in order to keep America solvent.My mother is 79 years old and works full time as a registered nurse.Her job paid off the mortgage put all her kids through college and now keeps the local Catholic church solvent.

Discussions about reducing the cost of health care is political suicide because voters working in health care do not want a pay cut.Military contracts are spread all over the country and have a base of voters who want keep their jobs.The Business Week cover is a cartoon and is a signal to the reader that the contents are of equal quality.Nurses do not wear caps and flight attendants do not say coffee,tea or me.
