3. That's what I was thinking. Time to buy dry goods and ammunition...
Not yet, but if this run lasts much longer we're gonna be glad that upper-floor windows on Wall Street don't open.

5. Good luck on the ammo.
.223 has gone fron $200 per 1,000 rounds to $300 per 500. And that's just for range rounds.

10. I know...the milsurp supply pretty much died.
Expect a flood of 5.56 when the U.S. military switches to 6.8mm....hopefully...

14. I am lucky enough
to be enough of a gun nut, that
I do have the capability to do
reloads. I have been lazy the last
couple of years and have been buying
boxed rounds. I do have at any given
times a minimum of 1000 rounds per
caliber of gun.

15. So far, I've stuck to the smaller stuff...
Only own .22 and 9mm and have a couple thousand rounds for each.

Thinking of a .308 to round it out.

16. I have not got too many big calibers.
2 - .22 rifles
1 - 9mm Camp Rifle
1 - .243 rifle
Handguns: 1 - .22, 2 - .32
1 -.25, and 1- 9mm.
Add to that an assortment
of 12gauge shotguns.

The .22s are shot the most
simply because they are more
economical to 'plink' with.
:hi:

4. When I inherited two years ago, I predicted the Dow
would be close to 7000 when this gang of thieves, ideological dreamers, religious nutcases, imperialists, and general doofuses were finally gone.

I thought the money guy was going to swallow his dentures. I just hope I wasn't being optimistic.

7. I remember when you posted that.
My initial reaction was that even these idiots couldn't f**k up that badly.

Oh, well...

9. " It's Time We Take Back What is Ours"
a paraphrased quote by Cheney. It was not a fuck up, it was deliberate.

12. I'm guessing 7200 before it turns around.
That could take a while, but I'm thinking there are a lot of companies out there that have hidden their true situations and (maybe) some might become known after reports to the tax man and their stockholders come out.

Just a WAG.

13. It still has ways to go, but... on a VERY LONG investment strategy
this is the time to start thinking what companies you want to buy into...

And in long I mean five years at the least
