Stimulus Ideas: More Money Moving

Hand all public employees $500 cash cards and tell them to spend it on American goods and services. Fire them if they don't.

Stop collecting Social Security taxes for one year.
In effect would be a large tax cut for lower income.

Begin a crash program to insulate houses.
Not only saving on electric and gas bills, but reduce global warming gasses in a year.
Would put millions of low-income earners to work.

2. Make it required
..that a cash card has to be used for a list of items such as solar panels made in the US.
They make food stamp recipients spend that help on certain foods, eh?

3. Better Yet
Increase funding and ease qualification requirements to secure small business financing through the SBA - and make Medicare (or a comparable state funded program) available to the families and employees of all small business owners.

Big business is not going to create enough jobs to replace those that have been lost in the forseeable future.

This would also address one of the fundamental flaws in our present economy by valuing productivity over cash flow and wealth creation.
