A HUGE Thank you to members of the Economic forum...
I have learned so much from postings and links, in the last 2 years. Esp. thank you to the frequent posters who keep us all up to date with the latest news.
Thanks to you, I have been to avoid a lot of damage from the economy cluster**ck. This is a great one-stop source for stuff I would spend hours looking for on the web.
You might want to check whitehouse.gov and see if any news is there. So far very little actual legislation is being passed, tis still quite early in the Congress.
I was trying hard to keep the forum active for a while, but wasn't sure if anyone cared. I've slacked off recently because work has kept me busy, but Joanne has done an excellent job adding material lately so kudos to her and the other forum regs.
7. And thanks to you, dixiegrrrrlm, for this thread....
for I would like to come out of lurkdom and join you in the gratitude.
This is my #1 forum on DU. I'm in and out of here several times each day. It is to the credit of the posters here that I am able to comprehend the complexity and magnitude of "the crisis". << That said while admitting that I've burned to many cells to really wrap my brain around the details of the how & why, much less the solution . I can at least try, LOL! >>
Thank you to all posters in the Economy forum from tosh!!:toast:
8. Welcome, and come out of the shadows more often.
At first I too lurked here then I read and got educated more and more and then found out I had some answers to a few member's questions and discovered a few really cool websites and tools I wanted to share here...etc.
The variable group of incredibly experienced, informed, smart folks here at DU make my rather isolated life so much better.
