I would be delighted to be proven wrong, of course.

But the 'stimulus' is not going to solve anything. On the near term, there will be no recovery until that point of real value is once again realized in the market. Right now, collectively speaking, we're in denial. This is a bad thing, because we're wasting time that could be better spent preparing for the tough road ahead. Instead, our 'leaders' borrow money to throw at the problem from the top down, which is just the way the problem started.

So, yes, I'm skeptical about there being any type of recovery any time soon. We haven't even reached a point of reckoning yet. And that's where we need to be to start recovering.
