Blockbuster hires professionals to explore bankruptcy

NEW YORK (Reuters) - U.S. movie rental chain Blockbuster (NYSE:BBI - News) has hired lawyers to explore a possible bankruptcy filing, a source familiar with the matter told Reuters on Tuesday.

1. Blockbuster sucks. Big time.
I guess I've been spoiled by Netflix, but last time I was in ballbuster I could not find anything to watch. Even the classics were anemic.

2. They never got much of my business anyway. Screw 'em.
This is the same company which would gladly spend money on postage and daily harassing employee phone calls over less than $2 in late fees. And I mean every day until you paid them! I went through that twice way back in the early 90s and after that I never went back. As far as I was concerned, I was getting the treatment someone who never returned a $50 game or movie should have gotten... over a buck and change!
