Anger over AIG sparks bus tour of homes of executives

Outrage over AIG bonus pay sparked plans for a bus tour Saturday of the Fairfield County homes of several company executives.

Jon Green, director of Working Families, a Connecticut political party, said his group has already been contacted by police in the various towns he intends to take the bus through.

The trip is meant to highlight injustice. Green's group and the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now have dubbed it "The Lifestyles of the Rich and Infamous Tour."

"We're very committed to make this a very peaceful and lawful protest," Green said. "We're going to be cooperating with police in the towns."

The bus, which will leave Hartford on Saturday morning and stop to pick up people in Bridgeport, will be filled with those "who are worried about losing their homes, worried about losing their jobs," Green said.
