it is for a big company to have an in-house department that creates advertising?

1. When I worked for them who import most of their cars in the 90's
they had a HUGE law department and NO advertising department except for some women who validated the claims for co-op advertising. They always hired American firms to do the advertising.

Only because we have in house law at work & I'm not sure I've ever seen any in house advertising.
I don't think we do our own ads... then again, I'm not sure we advertise publicly.
Plus my wife works at an advertising firm. I would hope MANY of the clients (LARGE corporations) she works with have in-house law.

3. Yes.
But with the caveat that a large portion of what in-house legal does is farm work out to firms that specialize in whatever SNAFU comes up.
