an armed security guard is outside my local BofA this week
I've never seen that before. This is a small branch in a quiet suburban strip mall.

What's this about?

It could also be that as conditions deteriorate in the economy that businesses are getting a little anxious.

Though I hope the guard isn't trying to avoid foreclosure as well...

5. I wonder if someone make a threat against the bank?
Perhaps some poor soul had enough of the B of A baloney and made an ill conceived threat. It will complicate his life far more than whatever ill fortune might have been foist upon him by things not under his control.

Stress does awful, stupid things to us.
