LOL! "The Yen is the prettiest horse in the currency glue factory"--Max Keiser
at the 10:45 mark on his video of last week.

I gotta give him credit for a good turn of phrase.

Last year he said something to the effect that "the USA is the leperous finger on the hand of world economy"

2. Check out his Wiki page. Fascinating guy.
What works for me with him, is that he distills the jargon into plain English and puts it in context of the big picture.
This particular series is weekly, I try to catch his several tv shows all at once, usually on a Sunday I will sit down and
listen on You Tube.
Gotta admit he is entertaining. ( annoying voice tho)

He also saved my retirement funds back in early 08, he and Denninger ( I posted his show with Denninger here:
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=114x82024)
I had the funds in AIG and in Lehman ( rather, my bank had put them there)
and I was able to rescue the money before the SHTF.

Denninger started writing his blog in early 08 because he saw all this disaster happening.
His knowledge of money, markets, the economy is excellent, BUT he is also a libertarian, so I read the money part,
ignore his politics.

Both of them provide a sane alternative to yada yada yada of "experts" who shill for the banksters.

3. I wasn't nearly that exposed
I took everything I had out of the stock market in March of 2008, because I was really suspicious of the housing bubble.
