Short the airlines.
This TSA groping is discouraging people from flying.

2. While short sales are risky
your observation will surely produce a decline in their stock prices, probably early in the next year, after holiday flying is over with. Most of those trips will not be cancelled, as the refund policies are too onerous. But they will produce first-person horror stories of the type we've been reading over the last couple of weeks.

Eventually, the TSA will relent, even if it's because a Rethulican House threatens to cut off their funding. At that time, the airlines' stocks will improve, and those who got in at the bottom will have a decent return on their investments.

I appreciate the tip, you look at the news, see who's bleeding, and invest there.

6. Interesting, I didn't know that
I would imagine that a lot of folks don't know that. In any case, I'm going to see my folks before they die, and I'm stuck with having to fly on Thanksgiving.

...in theory. I say, "in theory" because I know very little about the stock market. However, it
doesn't take a financial genius to see that this could be a disaster for the airlines. I wouldn't
be surprised if many people switch from flying to other modes of transportation.

This really is intrusive and infuriating--and it reminds people about terrorism and the dangers of flying.
I was in PR for many years, and I can tell you that this is a nightmare for the airlines.

I wonder if I am in the minority--but because of all of this, I would never schedule a family trip that
requires flying. This situation has affected any Disney World plans we made. I have seriously
considered contacting Disney World, and letting them know that. If enough people did that, change
might happen. After all, nothing gets the attention of the government more than companies that are upset
because they're losing money due to government policies. Sad, but true.

I think people are slowly wising up to just about everything. With each election cycle, the disillusionment
gets more profound.

The media is very quick to report, during every story about the TSA-groping situation--that 99 percent
of people are going through the scanners or getting felt up with no complaints. Smacks of planted
propaganda to me, because I haven't talked with anyone who thinks this is ok. People are pissed.

The stock market is nothing more than taking a risk on good hunches and information. I'd say
that shorting the airlines could have a good chance of being a nice money maker.
