Any suggestions as to what the problem might be? Also, spell check no longer works.

1. Can you give an example?
Maybe your browser program is messed up... try reinstalling your browser.

3. When I click on any hyperlink inside of a DU post, I receive an
error message rather than going to the site. I'm using IE8 with XP and have tried to reinstall my IE. It doesn't help.

7. "The Internet Explorer has encountered an error and will have
to close". I click on "don't send error" and then I'm returned to whatever post I was viewing.
I also get same error from inside most other sites.

8. It is an error within your Explorer, XP, or both. But Rabble

has the best suggestion - another browser. There are many, and personal tastes vary, so "best" varies as well.

You can install Chrome

http://www.google.com/chrome

from that link, Google's browser, or just do a search for others.

You can leave IE 8 on there, even bring them both up simultaneously.

9. I would also recommend Chrome, and it won't interfere with IE at all. In fact...
You can have as many browsers as you like, and they won't cross-interfere. While I prefer Chrome, others can make a case for Firefox, Opera, or Safari.

There's no way anyone can guarantee it's a browser issue, but it seems likely, and installing a different browser is a quick and easy way to find out. At the very least, I promise it will do no harm.

10. I downloaded and installed Chrome. It fixed all of the issue I was
having with IE8 and it's a bit faster executing everything. I still have my IE8 for some things that are useful Thanks.
