1. Interesting.

Sign of times to come. No natural disaster to blame. No *new* political situation to blame for reduced supplies.

Only higher consumption. And lower refining.

Maybe they're contriving a shortage to squeeze a few more tax breaks out of legislators. With a refinery in the state, the chances for oil shortages are slimmer.
