Woman content living in 84-sq. ft. dream home
Cool short video.

Talk about down-sizing! One Olympia woman is living in a house that you really have to see to believe. "Roughly the size of a parking spot. Actually, smaller than a parking spot," says Dee Williams.

1. Tiny houses plans are at 'resources' at this site
http://www.tumbleweedhouses.com/home.htm

Too bad most locales would need building code changes for composting toilets and 'granny units,' like these could be. Instead of McMansions we could have a lot more of these homes. This Dee lady is sooooo neat !

2. Looks pretty cool to me.
After six years remodeling a 1500 sq ft home in a neglected urban setting, I could go for this. More time for the important things, and less out put of energy and wasted time.

3. Buy or build a bunch and have an instant B&B or cooperative community
The possibilities for co-housing and coopertive intentional communities look great ! Grannie units for extra income too. Love these tiny houses.

4. That's a seriously cool house.
I couldn't live there; not enough room for me and the cane in it, but it is seriously cool.

5. Definately a lifestyle adjustment
would be required. I spent six months as a homeless person living from the back of my car about twenty years ago, so I think I could get into it at some point.

6. Ok maybe I am the only spoiled one here, but I like my queen size bed and don't know
that I could do it. I like AC too much in the summer too.

7. Me too,
But I thought it was a neat set up for so small a place, and she seemed happy with it.

Going up to my water bed and AC myself shortly.

10. There's enough room in the loft for a BIG bed
and in Oly the AC doesn't get turned on so often, ya know... :P
